Pakatan now pro Racism?

Malaysiakini - Harapan forsaking anti-racism for GE14 win, says UndiRosak activist (extracts):

don't forget to ... ooops ... wrong photo

ah, that's better, don't forget to vote my Pribumi even if you 'nons' are NOT allowed to join my party

Pakatan Harapan is so desperate to win in the forthcoming 14th general election that it is willing to sacrifice its principles against racism and authoritarianism, UndiRosak campaigner Maryam Lee has claimed.

In an interview with the weekend edition of Utusan Malaysia, Maryam said the inclusion of Bersatu Pribumi as a Harapan member had destroyed the opposition pact's legitimacy to change the country's political culture.

She also said so long as the opposition practices politics of obsession, idolises their leaders and makes use of religious sentiments, there will be no progress in the country's political culture.

"When the leaders are practicing such toxic politics, then it is comes as no surprise that their followers are also equally obsessed and will bully anyone with a different view," said Maryam, who recently lodged a police report following online attacks against her.

The UiTM graduate pointed out that issues such as housing, minimum wage, education and medical facilities should be brought front and centre, but become drowned out by the infighting and bickering between Harapan component parties.

She said this when asked for comments over her criticisms of the opposition, which led to some labelling her as a government sympathiser.

Maryam had recently published a video on her personal Facebook wall showing doctored images, sexist comments, and accusations that she was "paid by BN," which she received after participating in a Jan 25 forum discussing the UndiRosak or spoiled votes campaign.

She blamed Harapan supporters for the attacks, and condemned leaders from the coalition for their "silence" despite previously decrying "toxic politics."

Leaders from the coalition later denounced the misogynist and personal attacks.

  2. Let's DON'T talk about winning first.

    How about principles?

Perhaps those humanistic 'principles' as understand by these anglophiles!

Winston Churchill was/is loved & admired by anglophiles & some.

What's so special about him that creates such a followings?

    His principles!

Ha, those that he used to get the Yank to involve in the WWII. Those he used to safeguard the pommie first. Maybe, just his twisted pommie sense of achieving a BIGGER aim.

Go read about The sinking of the Cunard ocean liner RMS Lusitania occurred on Friday, 7 May 1915.

Do also with the German soldiers' targeting practice of the Ozzie/Kiwi soldiers on the Normandy beach bcoz they were the dispensable first liners.

Oooop...He was also collaborating with Stalin of USSR to fight the
marauding 3rd Reich army. Knowing the atrocities committed by Stalin yet still had to work with the devil!

Closer to home, how WC sacrificed Malaya/S'pore to the Jap so the majority of the pommie army personnel could safely retreat to DownUnder. He betrayed the people of Malaya, especially the MPAJA.

All these & more were WC's legacy of principles!

The principle of willing to sacrifice its principles against racism and authoritarianism to achieve an end!

What end? The defeat & removal of a current pestilence!

Maybe, just maybe, these syiok-sendiri otakrosaks have a twisted sense of 'righteousness' - only to their limited understanding of how the world works in REAL time.

BTW..... could she really be an UiTM graduate(!)??

Wakakakaka.... Perhaps that's part of the reason for her continuous moronic 'crusade' - knowing that useless racist lair!

    3. I guess that you may have seen this video about the sinking of the Lusitania, which alleges that Winston Churchill who was Lord of the Admiralty at the time appeared to want some incident involving American lives to get the Americans into the war against Germany.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiVDOVWgo-M

In World War II, the Soviet Union made a non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany to buy time for the Soviet Union to prepare for war and to turn the tables on the western powers which were trying to pit Nazi Germany against the Soviet Union.

Then Nazi Germany broke its non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union.

Finally, Britain under Winston Churchill made an alliance with the U.S. and the Soviet Union to defeat Nazi Germany.

When one talks principles, one needs to ask what are those principles.

Winston Churchill principle was to save Britain and by doing so retain its colonies, Stalin's was to preserve the Soviet Union and socialism, not sure what the United States' principles were but it ended up being the global top dog after the war.

The principle of those who have allied with Mahathir and Pribumi is to defeat UMNO/BN to win GE14.

Mahathir's principle is to get his son into power and for the sake of his family.

The principle of #Undirosak and others who oppose the alliance with Mahathir/Pribumi is that it brings their struggle which began against Mahathir full circle back to square one, as well as Pribumi's racially exclusive membership policies, even at the risk of UMNO/BN winning GE14.

In war, a military strategist has to take into account the real-word reality of what existing forces exist against each other and their relative strengths.

If there was a viable third force as an alternative to these exiting two, then there is a viable third choice.

However, there is none beside Pakatan & BN, so one who does not quite support both, is faced with a tough choice over which is the lesser evil.

Some fear that with Pribumi in Pakatan, if it wins GE14, it will turn out to be BN 2.0 with the same racially exclusive policies.

However, the relative strengths of its component parties, especially of the DAP within Pakatan, may help mitigate Pribumi's exceses, unlike in BN on Peninsular Malaysia, where MCA, MIC and Gerakan are very weak with a small number of seats each in parliament.

On the other hand, if after winning GE14, Pribumi and DAP fall out and Pakatan breaks up, well that will be something else and Malaysia could well stagger along in crisis as an unstable, dysfunctional democracy, with consequent adverse affects upon our economy.

      It's our choice.

    4. Trust is built on principles of good faith. If this principle can no longer hold water, how can they be deemed trustworthy?

    5. What a cockagroo.....

      Humanistic principles r universal.

Dont equate that with yr individualistic syiok-sendiri, self-propagating 'principles' lah.

      Delete
    6. Quite true. Trust is as basic a humanistic principle as it can be, perhaps even animalistic as pre-humans have formed societies. Trust within a society group entrust each other not to back stab their own, trust within marriage entrust a spouse not to betray each other, trust in early commerce ensures it flourishes long b4 contracts were invented.

So unlike a contract which is legally bound, trust is something more basic as in word of mouths or a handshake. So if principles are broken and the person no longer deemed trustworthy, it goes back to our humanistic, or perhaps animalistic, reaction not to trust this person/party anymore.

    7. Sound so politically correct, such that these jingo could easily fill the ignoramuses' ego.

Unfortunately, what happen when two humanistic principles crash with each other?

      忠义不能两全。忠孝不能两全。

Anmokauxai can't never understand these heart aching dilemmas.

They can never understand the concepts of 忠孝义!

They proclaim freedom of choice while totally ignoring the selfless being as defined in 大我 & 小我 in the scheme of nature!

      How to choose?

For those WHO know, the choice is easy.

For those WHO don't, then all the craps surface!

One doesn't need to reverse to animalistic instinct to make a choice. Otherwise, all the education one earned is totally wasted.

    8. Sorry dude. Not Chinese educated, so you can drop that "superior Chinese" mentality.

Trust of ones principle has nothing to do with ones education. Animals and pre-humans trusted each other enough to form communities hence societies, without the benefit of superior education.

Therefore trusting of one another goes back to a very basic human instinct, and if their principles can no longer be trusted, then whatever they say or promised does not worth anything.

Which is why verbal talk don't mean anything, and whereby contract agreement comes in. So to allay fears of renegading their promises which arised #UndiRosak, Pakatan must come out with a legally binding contract of all these promises with definite deadlines, and signed by all their leaders.

This will ensure their trustworthiness is unquestionable.

    9. Wakakakaka...."superior Chinese" mentality?

      Where? How?

Why not just say yr inferiority complex ties onto yr siege mentality, thus Superman is surrounding u everywhere.

The Mandarin quotes r for those who know. For those who don't, too bad or u can start learning how to use Google translate. Better still, try Baidu translate to avoid hilarious misquotes.

Wakakakaka...maybe u r educated but definitely not learnt!

"Animals and pre-humans trusted each other enough to form communities hence societies"

That mutual trust ONLY comes about when one is feeding dedak to the other over a long period of time lah.

In nature, no species that survive long ever trust anything/anybody on first encounter. The dodo extincted, not bcoz of their trustfulness but more of their curiosity.

So, that means education is involved due to the mutual explorings of each others safety/comfort zones.

      "without the benefit of education"??

Muhahaha....No wonder lah! Not learnt, lagi blur as a spring pula.

    10. Alas poor CK, you have a lack of understanding on the subject matter of anthropology.

Animals don't feed dedak to one another, only humans do. Nope, trust occurs when individuals identify common goals within each such as surviving, hunting, procreation, art, behaviour, etc but when a member of that society has betrayed that trust (ie murder, theft) then the larger group will punish that betrayer. And as such, that individual is no longer deemed trustworthy becoz his principles no longer sync with the larger society.

On the subject of Mandarin usage, this is a primarily English blog. So please respect the blogger by using his preferential language. Hokkien is still acceptable of coz.

I did once post a full essay of CaoCao about administrating a country during chaotic time in this blog.

My bad, as the essay was in Mandarin & there were/are no known translations that COULD adequately express its true/essential meaning.

KT binned it & I accepted that action.

Now, if using a few Mandarin, Malay or Swahili quotes in a comment is considered disrespectful to a majority anglicized blog, then u r definitely ranked top amongst the blur-sotongs!

    20. Chinese idioms are much like Old English prose & poems. A single sentence can elicit different interpretations, although that may be due to usage of certain words and sentence structure in different eras.

It takes a studious mind to delve into such fields and find the true meaning that would resound with contemporary times. Religion teaching are somewhat similar in that sense, but I digress.

Still, I don't expect CK to understand such complexities when he drop idioms here and there, but unable to explain it means when asked. Its just how he is.

Is she saying Pakatan is made up of only Tun? Is she saying all of Pribumi are rotten? Isn’t she being racist herself by labelling that?

She is like the Chinese saying ”一根竹竿打一船人” so isn’t she being bias and racist herself? She is accusing all of Pakatan are now rotten! So Teresa Kok, LGE, Datin Wan Azizah, Nurul, Rafizi, Kapal Singh’s children, Zaid Ibrahim, Saifuddin Abdullah just to name a few, they are now all rotten people?

Does she know that her stupidity is a lifeline to BN enabling them to remain in power to perpetual injustice to no end? She think she is a principled hero sacrificing our children and grand children’s future? #FuckHerUndiRosak promotion.

Anyway, this young person must be thinking she's on to some earth-shaking mission to put the fear into Oppos to drop their strategy to take out the Clear and Present danger now currently rosak-ing our nation right in front of her very nose. It could be liken to a patient with 4th stage cancer but she's out to sabotage any effort to use an antidote to combat and wipe out this deadly tumor. No doubt this antidote has side effects but that can be dealt with, but first the patient has to be saved, right ? Meanwhile, she and her ilks can pretend that the near death patient is fine and dandy in spite of all the signs to the contrary...she's pretending not to see the horrendous diarrhea, the pus and sores on the patient's body, the tumors eating right into the very bones....
