Wan Azizah's Pardons Board

MM Online - Pakatan to fill up Pardons Board with ex-judges to help prove Anwar’s innocence (extracts):

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 15 — Pakatan Harapan will appoint ex-judges to be on the Pardons Board if they win federal power, so that they can help prove Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s innocence, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said today.

Channel News Asia today reported the Opposition Leader as saying that she believed the Yang di-Pertuan Agong would consider the Pardons Board’s advice on the matter.

"Once we are elected, the government has a say in choosing and appointing members to the Pardons Board,” she reportedly said.

"Our Pardons Board will be filled with ex-judges so they can look into the matter and prove that Anwar is innocent."

While I can understand Wan Azizah's wish to "prove" hubby Anwar Ibrahim's innocence of his sodomy conviction, I wonder whether she realised what she had just said?

Won't stacking the Pardons Board with people sympathetic to your side of politics be EXACTLY THE SAME as having 'Yes-Men' a la UMNO?

But then she and hubby were from UMNO.

Certainly such a stacked Pardons Board can recommend to HM the Agong to pardon Anwar but how will that PROVE he is innocent of his crime (???) to the public's satisfaction?

Wan Azizah should be more careful of her words, especially now the elections is coming nearer. Apart from insulting those future members of her Pardons Board, she cannot afford to demonstrate she is exactly like the people she wished to politically defeat and replaces.

The buah langsat certainly doen't fall far from the bangsat langsat tree, but she could at least pretend to be a belimbing wuluh.

  1. A few points to clarify.
Wan Azizah was Never a member of UMNO, as you alleged.

As a matter of necessity, Anwar Ibrahim's case needs to be reopened, The depth and seriousness of the doubts on the facts and conduct of the case cast a deep shadow over the Federal Prosecution service, Federal Court and Police.

An independent commission comprising untainted retired members of the judiciary will be needed to restore public trust.

South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission can serve as a model.

    1. We are not South Africa so why would we need an independent commission?

Besides, Wan Azizah was NOT talking about that, but rather a Pardons Board which she intends to fill with retired judges who will help pardon his husband and also prove his innocence.

Don't try to change the subject to hide Wan Azizah's UMNO-type mentality

    2. So u r well aware of the UMNO-type mentality, right?

Then, what r u going to do with the current UMNO-type mentality Jibby reign?

Keep sheltering him for lack of clear & transparent evidences!

      Wakakakaka.....

You may be blind and oblivious on your Dearest Jibby , but a large number of Malaysians can see that the Judiciary and Law Enforcement system ,including under Najib, is fucked up politicised and interfered with, especially with the Anwar Ibrahim case. Nothing less than an Independent Commission comprising untainted legal experts can restore confidence in the Judiciary.

    5. we should have a Truth Commission to investigate the destruction of an independent judiciary by Mahathir during his PM-terms

    6. "you're so capable I'll left Najib to you.."

Not so fast, you don't, Ktemoc ! Not when you are so relentlessly vicious and vocal with no quarter given on other Umno leaders but keeping deathly silent where Jibby are concerned. Jibby could get away with murder for all you care ! Your actions ( or rather your writes ) speak volume and we the ordinary citizens, could see plainly the utter hypocrisy. I also take umbrage at those at the sidelines who urge you "to carry on in spite of the irritation". These are the type of people who actually do us the Malaysians no favor as they simply do not care enough to call out these corrupt and cunning leaders who are the clear and present danger; and they have the audacity to even urge bloggers to carry on such disgusting shamelessness. Craven knaves all....

    7. "untainted retired members of the judiciary"
Those that fit ur criteria are 6 feet down under. The rest were propped up the ladder by Mahathir.

    1. R u admitting that u r a Jibby prop-upper NOW?

If u dare to spray yr one-sided diatribes in the WWW, then at least have the gut to face some alternative views lah!

Asking yr opponents to start a blog or going visiting other blog of sharing similar view indicating a DEFICIT moral standing - either with me as a choirboy or else f★★k off!

So much like that infamous mom!

      Bravo, wordsmith.

    2. you decide who is guilty, who is right, who lacks moral standing, who is a choir boy, etc - to wit, you are judge jury and executioner

      ever look into a mirror?

    3. C'mon Ktemoc, you ought to try to be less petulant, after all, you are not that young anymore, right ? wakakaka

Just because you were found out, for all your twist and turn in wordsmithiness, and got hammered as you deserved to be, wakakkaka again, be man enough to be graceful about it... or you could just simply ape your monster sifu, be shameless and ban all those who hold opposing views and retain only a slavish choir group with the likes of Unknown, Hasan, john and even Warrior, etc who worship Jibby like you do and think he does no wrong and is leading the country to greater heights, muahahaha.

Why urge us to start our own blogs just because we put in some comments to 'straighten' things out as we think fit, wakakkaka. Tak boleh ke ? This behavior is just not matured la.....hehehehe.

Btw, you seemed to be mistaken again ( yet again !)....I don't really hammer Najib, like the way you have relentlessly and obsessively hammered Mahathir ( by now, there must be at least 300 articles specifically devoted to this brazen attack ). What I pointed out about our 'cermelang' leader is what others have written about him too ...i.e. he who put us firmly on world map as the biggest kleptocracy, he who will 'transform' our country to another Venezuela if this plundering continues unabated, and he who might create history by turning our country into a theocracy, another first. You seemed to get it wrong here. What I do hammer here is YOU, the blogger who insists on hammering one Evil without any let up but let another Evil go scot-free by turning blind to the massive harm it is causing our country.

Stop replying to our considered criticism with a nonsensical non-answer like " you are judge jury and executioner" ! We never once dictate what you should blog about. We only worm out hypocrisy and we simply refuse to let bloggers, especially those mercenary bloggers, to run riot working hand in glove with unscrupulous hidden hands to bring further inbalance to our already fragile state.

    4. JJ, I don't mind visitors condemning me and even accusing me of a Najib supporter (when I am not, though no one bothers to listen anyway), but I admit I do get irritated when they have the nerve to insist I must write something against Najib.

Surely that's up to me. More importantly this is my blog, thus I say to those who insisted I must write something against Najib to prove I am still a DAP supporter: "Go create your own blog and do as you please." Wakakaka.

Whoever wants to write what they want to, remember, have your own blog. Don't expect me to do your bidding. F**k off, wakakaka

    5. Who is insisting u must write something against pinklips to prove u r still a DAP supporter?

      Mimpi ke? Show proofs lah!

When it comes to propagating news, u r VERY selective, totally losing yr claimed impartiality - if it is indeed yr starting point.

We, who r critical of yr writes, have never dismissed mamak's past misdeeds. We condemn pinklips at the same time also frequently taking pot shoots at mamak.

      While u r TOTALLY one-sided & remind miao2ly quiet about the jibby's current malfeasances.

Many a time, u conveniently blame what have been done by Jibby on mamak's faults!

So be VERY clear, we never demand what u need to write. U write what u like. We respond likewise!

      Remember, opposing views?

U seem to be still high on yr altar about mamak's past misdeeds. Fine, that's yr choice!

But DONT ever labelling what u write as a reminder from historical lessons. Bcoz, while u preach, u forget about the purpose of those lessons in preventing current pestilences.

Be assured, we never expect u to do our bidding.

In fact if u want choirboys for yr blog then exercise yr selective right to limit it to members ONLY. Then u don't need to worry about demanding & opposing comments lah.

      Faham tak?
